After you have reviewed the safari itinerary and options, you can make your safari payment securely online using any acceptable credit/debit card,  cash on arrival or bank wire transfer.

40% deposit per person at the time of booking to help us secure and confirm the hotel rooms. Balance due 7 days before the start of the Safari. 

Low seasons like April – June 15 and Nov.1 to Dec.15 are exceptions where the remaining 60 % of payments can be made on the actual date the safari begins.

Cancellation & Refundable

Our cancellation charges are determined by the fact that once we have booked with hotels and safari camps/lodges and with local airlines, they will charge us a cancellation fee if we cancel a booking. We try to keep such charges to a minimum and they are as follows, as a percentage of the total payments made;

Cancellation must be made in writing via email to payments@africansafariconnections.com and receipt of the cancellation must also be confirmed in writing by Swit Kenya Travel or Tim Safaris Kenya.

If there is no acknowledgement of the cancellation from The Swit Kenya Travel or Tim Safaris Kenya means that your cancellation notification has not been received and is therefore not valid. 

We will use reasonable efforts to respond to emails on time but please ensure that you follow up on any cancellation notification. 

Cancellation notifications must be acknowledged in writing in order to be valid. In the event of a valid cancellation notification, the following terms will apply.

 

  • Bookings canceled over 120 days before commencement of the safari incur a no cancellation charge.
  • Bookings canceled between 45 to 120 days before commencement of the safari incur a 30% cancellation charge.
  • Bookings canceled between 7 to 45 days before commencement of the safari incur a 70% cancellation charge.
  • 100 % cancellation charge for bookings canceled within 7 days of travel.
